Jeff Kelly is the distinguished founder of our firm, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. Admitted to the Texas Bar in 2004, Jeff pursued his legal education at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also holds an LLM (Master of Laws in Commercial Real Estate, summa cum laude), showcasing his commitment to real estate and construction law. Prior to law school, he earned a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, where he was recognized as a thought leader among his peers.

Jeff’s career is marked by an inspiring journey from the business world to the legal field. From 2001 to 2003 Jeff was inspired to further a family tradition in construction and development by developing a twenty-three-unit townhome project just north of Kansas City. Jeff was in charge of securing financing to purchase the land, completion of the infrastructure and constructing all vertical construction improvements. This project was a culmination of Jeff’s previous fifteen years of construction experience. The project was a success, selling the last of the units just prior to his first year of law school.

As the Chief Financial Officer of Custom Home Companies in Kansas City, Missouri, he transformed the business from a small operation into one of Missouri’s most prominent home service providers. His strategic vision and leadership were instrumental in this remarkable growth.

Jeff’s transition into law began when he started representing his company in litigation and arbitration cases. His exceptional legal acumen was evident as he achieved a 100% success rate and reduced the company’s legal expenses by 60%. This success ignited his passion for law, leading him to fully transition into the legal profession. His diverse skills, strategic thinking, real work experience and unwavering dedication have set him apart in the Austin legal community, making him a top real estate, business and construction attorney.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff is a man of many talents and interests. He is an avid private pilot, enjoying the freedom and adventure of flying. His love for travel has taken him around the globe, enriching his perspective and experiences. Jeff also enjoys boating, skiing, and spending quality time with his family, balancing his professional life with personal passions.
